About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Instant Systems Sweden AB ("Instant Systems", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on instantsystems.se and its subpages. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner about how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels. In this policy, we refer to all of them as "cookies".
Who is responsible
Instant Systems Sweden AB is the data controller for the personal data processed through cookies on this website. Contact: dp@instantsystems.se
We group cookies into four categories. You choose which of them you allow, except for the necessary ones.
The cookies we use
- Necessary cookies: are required for the website to function — page delivery, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice. The website cannot work properly without them, so they do not require your consent.
- Preference cookies: allow the website to remember choices that change how it behaves or looks, such as your preferred language.
- Statistics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are visited, how people arrive, and where they run into difficulty. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.
- Marketing cookies: are used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where relevant, to show you our content on other platforms.
Your consent
When you visit our website for the first time, you are shown a cookie banner. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set after you have given your consent through that banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.
Third-party providers
Some cookies are set by third parties who provide services to us:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) — website statistics. IP addresses are truncated before storage, and sharing of Analytics data for Google's own advertising purposes is disabled. Google may process data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark) — manages the cookie banner and records your consent choice. Data is processed within the EU.
- Webflow (Webflow, Inc.) — hosts the website and sets necessary cookies for security and delivery.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — provides security and traffic protection for the website. It sets a cookie that allows its firewall to tell apart visitors who share the same IP address. This cookie is not used to track you or to measure your visit.
- New Relic (New Relic, Inc.) — monitors website performance and helps us find errors and slow pages. It sets a session cookie for this purpose.
- Varbi (Varbi AB, Sweden) — provides the recruitment portal used for our job listings and applications, hosted at instantsystems.varbi.com. It sets a preference cookie to remember your chosen language, and a session cookie that the portal needs in order to work. Data is processed within the EU.
Note: We do not sell personal data collected through cookies.
How long cookies are stored
Storage duration varies by cookie, from the length of a single browsing session up to two years. The exact expiry of each individual cookie is listed in the declaration at the bottom of this page. Your consent record is stored for twelve months, after which you will be asked again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Have it corrected or erased
- Object to or restrict its processing
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time — to exercise any of these rights, contact us at dp@instantsystems.se, or lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change or when legal requirements change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
